On behalf of GCV, I want to thank you for coming to the Ice Out for Good gathering. Your presence today mattered. It says something powerful: that we believe human dignity is not optional, that compassion is not weakness, and that our communities are strongest when no one is treated as disposable.
We are living in a moment when fear is being used as a tool, when families are being separated, and when policies are carried out that too often ignore the human cost. Behind every statistic is a real person, a parent, a child, a neighbor, someone with a story, a history, and a future that deserves protection.
This gathering is not just about opposing harm. It is about affirming something better. It is about standing for justice, for mercy, and for the belief that safety and humanity can exist together. We were here to say that our values do not end at borders, and our compassion does not come with conditions.
Many of us come from different backgrounds, faiths, and experiences. Some of us are directly impacted. Others are here as allies. All of us are here because we refuse to be silent when dignity is denied.
Today, we stood together. And we will remind one another that change has always come from people who showed up, just like how we stood at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument Park, and chose courage over comfort.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us ice out cruelty and build a future rooted in justice, humanity, and hope.

Ancrés au cœur de Nashua, dans le New Hampshire, nous nous engageons à bâtir une ville plus forte, plus solidaire et plus humaine en faisant entendre notre voix sur les enjeux les plus importants, du logement abordable à la sécurité publique, en passant par l'éducation, l'environnement et la croissance économique locale.
Que vous habitiez ici depuis des générations ou que vous veniez d'emménager, votre voix a sa place dans la conversation. Nous organisons des forums municipaux, des événements communautaires, des campagnes de sensibilisation et des actions bénévoles pour que les élus locaux entendent la voix de tous, et pas seulement des plus influents.
Ensemble, nous créons un espace où chacun se sent habilité à s’exprimer, à s’impliquer et à façonner l’avenir de notre ville.

On Sunday, March 8th from 12–2 PM, we come together with one clear message: Stop the War.
War costs lives. It tears apart families. It steals futures. And it leaves wounds that last generations.
We gather not in anger, but in hope, hope for peace, for diplomacy, for humanity to rise above destruction. We stand for the innocent lives affected, for the children who deserve safety, and for a world where conflict is resolved without bombs and bloodshed.

What an incredible day at the No Kings 2.0 Rally and Necessities Drive here in Nashua yesterday, 10.18.2025.
To everyone who showed up from right here in the city to all across Southern New Hampshire and globally! Thank you for standing together in peace, compassion, and purpose.
Because of you, we collected an amazing amount of necessities for Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support of Greater Nashua & Milford, NH, helping our neighbors in need and showing that our community truly cares.
Moments like this remind us:
Change happens when people show up.
Hope grows when we come together.
Unity is our greatest strength.
Thank you to the Gate City Voices Team. We are so blessed to have each other. What a great day!
